A mobile e-commerce app for an eco friendly beauty brand

Problem :
The client wanted a mobile application that would help them educate consumers about their product while also creating brand loyalty and promoting eco-friendliness.
The Approach :
After looking at the the client's wish list the first thing that I did was look into the competitors that offer a comparable feature. The idea is to see what works well and what doesn't. Once it was clear which features the app should focus on we start doing some user research before proceeding to wireframing.
Testing and Iterations:
After doing out initial wireframes, we did some usability tests and those led to updating my initial flow significantly. Originally I had it so user don't have to sign in at all so that it was optional until they are ready to support the client but I had one user tell me that it was odd that the sign up came a bit late.
Conclusion:
In the end we ended up with an application that our client was happy with and meets their brand identity.
